Balakrishna speeds up political activity, meets Babu once again

It seems that Nandamuri Balakrishna going in top gear, as far as, politics concerned. On various recent occasions, he made comments on some key political issues. He is also in regularly touch with party leaders as well as the party supremo and his brother-in-law, Chandrababu Naidu.

On the eve of the Independence Day, Balayya participated in the flag hoisting ceremony in Basava Tharakam Cancer Institute, in which, he is the managing director. On the side lines of this programme, he spoke to media. He said that he had been active now in direct politics and ready to take up any responsibility, given by the party. He also said that TDP is not against Telangana and a letter was already given to this extent to the Central Government. He praised his party’s recent announcements on BC and SC communities.

Responding to Balayya’s comments on Telangana, Errabelli Dayakara Rao, the senior leader from Telangana, today met the actor-politician and thanked for the stand on Telangana. Meanwhile, Balayya today met Chandrababu in his residence and discussed various issues. This is the second time, Balayya meeting Babu, in this week. Earlier, five days ago also he met party president and discussed several issues.

There is a talk that Balayya wants to take hold of the position of the working president of the party. On the other hand, those who knows his attitude thoroughly, comment that the highly emotional nature of Balayya does not fit for politics. There are several stories circulating in Telugu film industry about Balayya’s short temper. His instigating remarks, during the recent by-elections, lead to severe criticism.

We have to wait and watch, whether the irrepressible and invincible Balakrishna will play a second lieutenant in the party and obey the orders or not.
