Gold price rose to a record high of Rs.31,035


Continuing the upward trend of the past few days, gold rate reached an all-time high in both Indian and international markets. The rate of 10grams of gold crossed Rs.31,000 level in India yesterday and settled at Rs.31,035. Earlier the highest rate was Rs.30,750, i.e. on 19th of June, this year.

Silver price also rose by Rs.1,000 to Rs.57,000 per kg. In the international market, gold rate reached the highest level in the last 4½ months. According to the traders analysis, Federal Reserve giving indications that, it may add more stimulus to boost economic growth, may be the reason for the surge in gold rate.
